Ray Benton CEO


One of the most successful and experienced executives in the tennis industry, Benton has served since 2008 as the CEO of both the Junior Tennis Champions Center and the College Park Tennis Club. Benton, who has always taken an entrepreneurial approach to developing the sport of tennis, was a founder of and president of ProServ, a leading sports management and marketing firm, where he promoted the Volvo Grand Prix and the year-end Volvo Masters at Madison Square Garden. He also personally managed star athletes including Jimmy Connors. Benton created and operated the Nuveen Tour, a worldwide senior tennis circuit featuring Connors, John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg, among others. Benton was the first Executive Director of the National Junior Tennis League, founded by Arthur Ashe in 1970. In January, 2013, he was appointed to a two-year term on the Board of Directors of the United States Tennis Association (USTA.)
